Two-stage design: The fan combines a no guide vane axial flow local fan with an embedded panel type silencer. It utilizes a 2-stage impeller configuration for increased efficiency (refer to figures 1 and 2 in the original text).
Contra-rotating impellers: Each stage consists of an impeller directly mounted onto the shaft extension of a flameproof motor. Adjacent stages employ impellers rotating in opposite directions for enhanced airflow acceleration.
Integrated structure: The fan boasts a welded steel plate barrel and structural parts. Noise reduction is achieved through a front silencer, anechoic main unit, anechoic diffuser, and soundproof outer barrel filled with sound-absorbing cotton. This panel mount design allows for direct airflow contact with the cotton, maximizing noise elimination.
Streamlined runner: Unlike motor assembly type contra-rotating local fans, this fan integrates the motor junction box mounting plate directly onto the outer casing. This creates a smoother runner profile, leading to improved efficiency and simplified junction box assembly.
Tight structure: Flange bolts connect each air duct section, while the impeller directly connects to the motor. This construction ensures a rigid, durable, and secure fan that is easy to maintain and repair.
Contra-rotating, guide vane-less design: The absence of guide vanes and the contra-rotating structure minimize internal resistance, thereby enhancing overall fan efficiency.
Multi-stage operation: The fan offers operational flexibility. Depending on ventilation needs, it can be operated as a single stage or utilize all stages for maximum airflow. However, efficiency may be slightly lower in single-stage mode.
