Also, check for any mechanical failure that may cause the impeller or motor to seize up and repair or replace the damaged parts as needed.

2. Power Supply Not Properly Connected

A loose or incomplete power supply connection is another common reason why the fan may fail to start. If there is a fuse melt or burnout, the fan will not receive the necessary power to operate. To resolve this, inspect the fuse for any signs of damage. If the fuse is blown, replace it with a new one. Additionally, check for any loose terminals and tighten them. Using a megger, test the power lines for any breaks or faulty connections. If you find any issues, repair or replace the damaged connections to restore power.

3. Voltage Too Low

When the power supply voltage is too low, the fan motor may not have enough energy to start. This can be a result of problems with the power supply or inadequate cable sizing. If the voltage is consistently low, contact the power supply department to address the issue. Alternatively, if the cables used to supply power to the fan are too thin and cannot support the necessary voltage, consider replacing them with thicker cables to reduce voltage drop and ensure the fan receives sufficient power.
